Every challah we send starts as a kit: flour, sugar, yeast, oil, salt, a recipe card, an egg-wash brush, two breast cancer pins, and a Mishebayrach card for the baker to sign. A kit costs about $36 to put together and post.
How to give right now
We’re not set up to take card payments online yet — that’s coming. In the meantime there are two ways to help, and both of them work today.

Tell us who you’d like to bake for, and we’ll arrange it with you directly — including how to cover the cost of their kit.

Get in touchAbout your gift and tax
Healing Challahs is working toward 501(c)(3) status. Until that comes through we can’t offer tax receipts, and gifts aren’t tax-deductible. We’d rather say so plainly than let you assume otherwise — and we’ll update this page the moment it changes.
Other ways to help
Money isn’t the only thing that’s useful, and for a lot of people it isn’t the easiest thing to give.
