About Healing Challahs
Healing Challahs started with our founder's own experience of cancer treatment — and with what it meant to be able to bake challah again afterwards, for other people. The organization sends complete challah-baking kits to volunteers, who bake fresh challah for someone in treatment or recovery and deliver it locally, so healing doesn't happen alone.
Mission & vision
Connecting volunteer bakers to cancer patients and survivors, sharing the warmth and comfort of home-baked challah and Shabbat.
Our vision is a world where no one goes through treatment feeling forgotten.
